Permissions
Here's exactly what PulseWrite asks for, and why. Short version: we only read text when you ask us to — by focusing a field, clicking the badge, right-clicking, or selecting text and hitting Rewrite.
storageSave your sign-in session, per-site enable/disable preferences, ignore-selector list, and your optional Bring-Your-Own-Key locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to us.
contextMenusAdd the right-click “Rewrite with PulseWrite” menu item on selected text.
activeTabAllow you to trigger a rewrite on the tab you're currently using.
scriptingInject the in-page “GP” badge, the floating ✨ Rewrite button, and the results panel on the page you're editing.
host permissions: <all_urls>The rewriteer has to run on every website where you write — Gmail, LinkedIn, Notion, your CMS, etc. We never read pages until you focus an editable field and trigger a rewrite.
